- I love small towns settings and am a sucker for second chance romances, so this book to me was right up my alley. Ajay and Whiskey are perfect for each other. There’s also scenes that parallels and ties with the history of the original Beaumont books which makes them extra special for fans of the series. I absolutely loved this book and series, and it’s a reminder that family doesn’t have to only be blood related, family is who shows up for you and is always there for you.

FIGHTING FOR OUR FOREVER brought back so many of the FOREVER MY GIRL feelings with the story of Ajay and Jameson (aka Whiskey) and it reminded me just why I love this series so much. It's the second chance love story that makes you believe true love is worth fight for.
Ajay and Whiskey were childhood friends who experienced a young love that was so much more that both of them could handle. Wanting a better life for his love, Ajay sets out to make a name for himself with his music. Unfortunately, circumstances and time, and yes, some stubborness kept them apart.
What I loved
*ALL of the scenes with Ajay and Whiskey's father (you do not want to cross this man)
*Whiskey - the character, not the drink
*Getting to read Whiskey and Ajay as teenagers. One of the flashback scenes is one of my favorite moments in the book and I want to share it here, but can't because of spoilers. It's definitely a laugh out loud moment.
*Seeing Ajay being accepted into the 4225 West fold and the connection that he has Quinn.
*How reading FIGHTING FOR OUR FOREVER makes me want to read my most favorite books of this series

When a book makes your heart feel warm from the love the characters have for each other, you know that it is a true gem. That's what reading FIGHTING FOR OUR FOREVER feels like. I love these characters and this story. Ajay and Whiskey have joined the ranks of the Beaumont Couples and that's saying a lot. - If you love a good second chance romance, then you must read Whiskey & Ajay’s story. From the moment I started reading Whiskey & Ajay’s story, I couldn’t put my kindle down. Truly an amazing read and the characters are AMAZING, especially Evelyn who is too sweet. Ajay and Whiskey’s story is sweet and definitely will pull on your heartstrings. Another 5 Star read that everyone must read.
- Yes!! All the yeses for this story in the Beaumont world from Heidi McLaughlin! Second chance romances are my jam, and Ajay’s story with Whiskey is the ultimate second chance. With all the feels that I’ve come to expect from Heidi’s writing, the weaving of past and present to tell how first love turned to heartache and then a new chance was sooo satisfying. I loved how Ajay has been adopted essentially by the James’ and 4225 West clan; all our favorite folks appear as well. I loved Whiskey aka Jamie and her most adorable girl, Evelyn. Everything comes full circle here and I couldn’t have been more pleased!
- Who says you can’t go home? Well you shouldn’t if the sheriff is the father of your ex girlfriend... and he carries a grudge. This is one really awesome story about how time matures us and we may know what our hearts want in high school but just aren’t ready for it! When it turns out they were still legally married, they spend time together. You don’t want to miss out on Ajay and Whiskey’s road back to each other. I love small town folks and the politics and they make things interesting. This is one you don’t want to miss!!!

Deep storyline with amazing characters- and some special appearances by our favorite Beaumont boys! - Great story! Ajay returns to his and Whiskey's home town years later, both unsure of how to react to the other. Story of broken hearts, undying love, a forever love, now reunited, where will feelings go. Join in, so much love between all! Enjoy!💖
